Social Security COLA
It is disheartening that there will not be a cost-of-living increase for millions of Social Security recipients, the main reason being lower gas prices. Gas prices in South Florida have increased 20 cents a gallon in just the past 10 days. What about the increased cost of bread, milk and medicine?
I assume that elected representatives in the House and Senate and their employees will also forgo a cost-of-living adjustment in 2016. We’ll see.
