Has our country gone insane? There are people starving all over the United States and the world and we are paying Giancarlo Stanton $154,321 per game to play a game?
Hard working people can’t make ends meet, and yet the Marlins and Major League Baseball makes the decisions to pay players these kinds of absurd salaries.
I don’t blame Stanton for accepting, but I do blame all of the sharp management minds and agents who can make sense out of this insanity. I know there is a salary cap for team payouts, but don’t you think it’s time to make a salary cap on what one young athlete can earn for picking up a stick and hitting a baseball? For goodness sake, let's all get a grip!
