Show ’em your gun

As one who is steadfastly against the idea of the general public owning guns, much less walking around with them, I’ve come to what might seem a contradictory opinion about “concealed carry.”

Referencing that old canard about better to keep your mouth shut and let people think you’re a fool rather than open it and prove them right, I take the opposite approach to those carrying lethal weaponry; better to show what you’ve got so I can know whom I’m dealing with rather than being unsuspecting of your potential lethality. I say, show ’em if you got ’em, and with awareness of that I’ll conduct myself accordingly.
