Hands off Syria

Some of our allies in the Middle East want President Obama to do more to counter Russia’s aggression. Ask America’s allies what their part would be? Will they send their soldiers in like we did?

We should not get involved in Syria’s bloody and messy civil war. We tried it in Iraq and failed. It cost us the lives of many American soldiers and billions of dollars to train and equip them. We all know what happened.

If President George W. Bush had studied the history of the Sunnis, Shiites, Kurds and the prejudice that exists among them he would have never entered Iraq. His father knew his history and never went in.

Let’s give the Russians a chance. Maybe they can do better.
