Should have voted for Crist

I can only presume that the 760,000 Florida residents in the healthcare income gap believe they don’t need healthcare. If only an extra 10 percent (76,000) of them had voted for Charlie Crist, he would have beaten Rick Scott, and our uninsured would have had their needed insurance.

It also would have helped to elect a few Democrats to the state House and Senate.

As for the rest of us taxpayers, heck, let New York have the $20 billion we paid, and would have gotten back, in those Medicaid funds. We like paying taxes, and to prove it, you can now watch us dish out for the shortfall Jackson and our other public hospitals will have. What the heck, we’re rich — we’re Republican!
