I have lived in Sunset Harbour for more than 15 years and prior to this year, I thought I was going to need Noah’s ark to get out of my house when it rained or when the tide was high.
Ever since our streets were raised and pumps were installed, our streets are bone dry even though it has rained buckets in the past few weeks and we had one of the highest tides in recent years.
Let’s give credit where credit is due and thank Mayor Philip Levine and commissioners for all they have done to make our city drier and safer.
