Restore Florida Bay
Re the excellent Oct. 4 story Florida Bay on the brink: We who love Florida Bay and Everglades National Park can only pray that the political powers listen to this “canary in the coal mine.” The message is clear: Restore the historic freshwater flows to Florida Bay.
Politics and special-interest groups must come second to nature. We cannot stand by and watch Florida Bay die. Once gone, this treasure may never return as nature intended it to be.
