Do not compromise

Re Leonard Pitts Jr.’s Sept. 30 column, The adult has left the building. Now what?: Compromising with ignorant, uneducated people and evil premises backed by über liberals will bring everyone down to the lowest common denominator.

I’d rather the GOP/tea party aim for the stars of purity and traditional values, upholding the unfettered and unaltered beliefs of our forefathers, and deal with the socialist “welfarite” and foreign-minded terrorists in an appropriate manner.
