How many men in officialdom does it take to get a school zone blinking light working?
The school-zone light between Southwest Second Avenue at 13th Street, which runs in front of a school, has not worked since the beginning of school.
I emailed everyone I could think of and the only person who got back to me was Miami Police Officer Daniel Rodriguez, who kept his word and an officer was stationed at the school. That really helped. But what does it take to do something that should have been done at the start of school that will prevent an accident? Finally, on Thursday, a crossing guard arrived.
