Guns on campus
Letter writer Rebekah Hargrove of Students for Concealed Carry at FSU writes in her Sept. 18 letter that being allowed to pack a concealed weapon on campus will make her feel safer if confronted by a rapist.
Of course, the more likely scenario is a horde of armed rapists descending on campus, legally, if the campus concealed-carry bill passes. Do Florida parents really want their kids to be at the mercy of armed thugs, approved and sanctioned by the state Legislature? I think not.
