Don’t blame racism

The Sept. 30 editorial, Some free advice for candidate Bush chides Jeb Bush and the GOP for not truly speaking the language of inclusion regarding African Americans becaue of their unrelenting criticism of President Obama’s policies

Using Col. Lawrence Wilkerson’s own words as an example of racism is wrong. The real reason Bush and the GOP want Obama out of the White House is precisely because of his lack of leadership, his failures in economic domestic and foreign policies, his incompetence as commander in chief and president. It has nothing to do with the color of his skin.

Thousands of marvelous examples of successful black Americans prove this, living and thriving in harmony with the rest of the citizens of this great country.

The Herald should stop promoting racism with its political bias.
