Save our wetlands

After reading Carl Hiaasen’s Sept. 27 column, Brazen theft of our Amendment 1 bucks, concerning Steve Crisafulli and Andy Gardiner, who have ignored the wishes of 4 million voters on Amendment 1, I was angry.

Then I realized that would not help the Everglades and other outdoor projects.

If everyone who voted Yes on this amendment sent a minimum of a dollar to the appropriate conservation group, this would send a message to lawmakers that saving our wetlands is far more important to us than sugar.
