Review both sides

After reading letter writer Bob Guerin’s point of view on supporting police officers, I can only say that I don’t disagree with him.

However, his message delivers a myopic point of view. We must support police officers, deputies and troopers who restore order, not officers who perpetuate chaos in our civilized society.

I recommend that he read a Wall Street Journal article by Ben Kesling, Study: Ferguson needs more changes.

Among key proposals from the 16-member Ferguson Commission: “Changes to law enforcement and the court systems, including revising use-of-force training and establishing alternative sentencing options.”

Let’s not hide behind double standards.
