New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie bristled at a protestor on Oct. 29 who at a public event held up a sign imploring the governor to stay home in New Jersey to oversee the huge rebuilding effort from the destruction by Hurricane Sandy, now two years old.
In his typical bully demeanor Christie screamed at the protestor to “sit down and shut up.”
The federal government, over protests from many in Congress, awarded New Jersey $5.7 billion to rebuild, but Christie can’t seem to devote much time to New Jersey's problems these days as he jets around the country to bolster his candidacy for president, including three trips to Florida recently to help Gov. Rick Scott’s reelection.
Clearly, Christie doesn't have the temperament to be president.
