Stand against bigotry
I was very happy to read the Aug. 28 article Trump resort loses Latin Builders’ gala. In light of Donald Trump’s offensive comments toward Mexicans, a growing demographic, the prominent and respected Latin Builders Association canceled its biennial gala at Trump National Doral resort.
The LBA recognizes that bigotry and discrimination in any form should not be tolerated, and I applaud its action.
I salute the LBA and the other associations, companies and local governments that have taken a decisive stand against bigotry and those that represent it.
May their movement encourage others to do the same.
