Hurricane warnings

Having lost my home to Hurricane Andrew in 1992, I am most grateful that Hurricane Erika was a non- event here.

Do not be complacent the next time a hurricane or tropical depression heads our way.

We should consider ourselves blessed this time and remain vigilant for the next time.
