Vote on gun control
Leonard Pitts’ Sept. 2 column, If Sandy Hook is bearable, what is not?, was astute. If we can tolerate the killing of children, what’s wrong with our society?
U.S. lawmakers need to stop pandering to special interest and listen to their constituents.
We should vote on gun control, so that the voice of the people will be heard. I would fire all the senators and representatives and elect those who will follow the people’s wishes. It’s repulsive that we should tolerate the killing of innocents whether they be children, newscasters or people in theaters.
I hope Andy Parker can make a difference, since no one else has been able to.
