Teen intruders get off easy

I can’t believe the slap on the wrist given to the seven teenagers who broke into Ray Allen’s home at about 2 in the morning while his wife and children were sleeping.

Back when I was 18, it was called “breaking and entering.” Jail time was a forgone conclusion. If this is the current punishment for a crime that could have gone terribly wrong, then fine.

Let’s see if it is applied to all teenagers committing a similar crime, regardless of their ability to engage a private attorney and regardless of who they are and what part of town they’re from.
