The last time my wife and I attended a Florida Panthers game, Eddy Belfour was in goal. However, I recently received an email offering two tickets for the price of one, for teachers, to selected games. Since opening night was a choice, my wife and I decided to attend.
The ticket price came to $14 each. Our first surprise was that parking was $20; it had been free the last time we attended. The second surprise was at the concession stand: $11 for soft drinks and $14 for four cardboard-like pieces of pizza. We were then treated to one of the worst games ever.
This reminded us as to why we had given up our season tickets. I foolishly bought tickets to an upcoming game. I doubt we will attend.
