Don’t text and drive

Our society is suffering great economic, social and cultural loss because of the drug culture and a staggering number of addicts. Now there’s a new dangerous addiction — electronic communication devices that are resulting in injury and death on our streets and highways. Many studies show that people using these devices while driving have the same reaction time to an emergency situation as a person who is legally drunk.

It’s time for Florida legislators to pass a law with hard punishment for those irresponsible drivers.
