Show Trump respect
While I’ve always enjoyed reading Carl Hiaasen’s columns, I take issue with his recent slur of Donald Trump by calling him a “jerk” and then in another paragraph a “preening gasbag” (Maybe Jeb needs a new wardrobe, Aug. 23)
As a lifelong Democrat, I find many of the issues The Donald espouses, however bombastic, are worthy of some serious thought as he may yet wind up to become America’s next president.
