Driving a privilege
Re the Aug. 11 article License pull can set off fee horrors: So we are supposed to feel sorry for people who let their licenses lapse; don’t pay for auto insurance so they can’t register their cars; and can’t afford to pay for parking, tolls and driving violations that they caused?
Of all the ridiculous articles, this should take a prize. The worst was the man who said he was targeted for violations because of the color of his skin even though his car windows were heavily tinted.
Driving is a privilege in this state, not a right.
I have two words for these hapless individuals — public transportation.
