Dictatorship looming?
Every year it’s more understandable why I, an Independent since 1964, didn’t pledge allegiance to either party. It’s mind-boggling that people on both sides think that every four years the knight in shining armor will come along and save the fair maidens on their wish list. During the Republican debate, I heard nothing but essentially. “The sky is falling and only I can save you.”
The last five years have been a disappointment, but so were the previous eight.
Neither party can and will ever get anything accomplished unless we have a dictatorship. All those in favor, please raise your hand.
