More surprising than Ron Book backing down and apologizing to Miami Commissioner Marc Sarnoff, was finding out the size of the budget for the Homeless Trust: $57 million a year.
With that kind of money we could house all the homeless in downtown at the Intercontinental Hotel, instead of on outdoor mats, and still have money left over for valet parking.
How quickly the rhetoric changed once Sarnoff questioned where the Homeless Trust spends all this money.
