Growing national debt
The United States continues to pile on debt without admitting that we are headed down the same path as Greece and Puerto Rico.
The debt is over $18 trillion and growing every day. If every man, woman and child in this country mailed a check for $56,000 to the U.S. Treasury, the debt would be paid off. Since it’s not possible to pay off the debt, it can only be slowly reduced.
Congress and the president must grow a backbone, reduce spending and balance the budget for starters, before our monetary system collapses.
Greece and Puerto Rico are looking for bailouts, but who will bail out America?
