Voting without an ID
An FYI: If you don’t have a photo ID, you can still cast a ballot by signing an affidavit.
The affidavit can be used by voters who don’t have acceptable photo ID or didn’t bring it to the polls. Once you sign the affidavit, you may cast your ballot. It will be counted on Election Day.
And when voting without any ID, the law requires you be given printed instructions that contain the ballot number and a phone number to call to see if your ballot was counted.
In the last general election in Miami, I voted with no identification whatsoever.
