Berkowitz museum

It’s refreshing to read in the Oct. 12 article Unconventional and splashy that Bruce Berkowitz’s desire to build a museum to display his impressive art collection will not require waterfront land donated by the city of Miami or Miami-Dade County. That he will not need a board of directors to sell their souls for the naming rights and to fund its completion. That he will not require taxpayers to help maintain it in perpetuity. Thank you, Mr. Berkowitz, for adding to the quality of life in our community, without sending us the bill, as so many other have.
