Nuclear safeguards

With respect to Samuel Getz's letter, Iran will not change, I’m one of the so-called brainwashed Jews who support a negotiated agreement to curb Iran’s nuclear program.

I do not “goose-step along the party line” and resent that characterization. Most of the people “goose-stepping” are the Republican candidates who think they can curry favor with American Jews by their opposition. From what I have heard and read, there are many safeguards in place to delay a resumption of Iran's nuclear progress. I know there are many thoughtful people in Israel who feel the same way.

What might be the alternative to this agreement? Let's see, a 15-year delay or zero years, or war? My family and I love Israel. My husband and I have friends there, have visited more than once, and my three children have all studied there on a high school program. I’m always interested in intelligent discourse, but insults and name-calling are out of order.
