Cause of ‘carnage’

Writing under the freedom of the press provided by the Second Amendment, Fabiola Santiago in her July 25 column, 1 shooting, many bills on immigration, muses about the GOP's inability to do anything about guns.

To use her word “carnage,” the weekly carnage in places like Chicago or Baltimore apparently means nothing to her. Spoons don't make people fat, beer and wine bottles won't cause folks to drive drunk, and guns by themselves do not kill people.

Perhaps she'd prefer living in a gun-free zone, so she could concentrate of the real issues plaguing countries around the world such as poverty, the breakdown of the family unit, the ridicule of decent values, the state of mental healthcare, and the lack of enforcing current laws already on the the books, which includes dealing with illegal aliens.
