Special prosecutor
It’s business as usual, no surprises here. The investigation was pure window-dressing meant to clear the officer of all criminal charges. As the July 24 article, No charges in taser death of graffiti artist in Miami Beach, states, tasers are non-lethal instruments of force that do not kill.
The only remedy in these types of police homicide cases is to appoint a special prosecutor; the local state prosecutor basically works for the cops.
