Letters to the Editor

Distorted comparison

What an uninformed observation by letter writer Larry Solomon to state that the atrocities of Fidel and Raúl Castro outweigh those of Civil War Confederate soldiers, who out of a desire to uphold 400 years of slavery and bigotry waged war.

They pillaged, raped, and lynched solely because of skin color, while proudly waving the Confederate flag.

The Cuban flag was in existence long before Fidel and Raúl's distorted communist regime. It represents all Cubans, not a select few.
