Safe bike lane

Of all the good news in the paper on July 15, the repaving of Crandon Boulevard was the best. How attractive Miami-Dade might become for tourists and commuter cyclists — all we need is safe, dedicated bike paths and lanes to places people want to go.

I imagine there will be a few cars off the clogged roadway alleviating traffic as well. Even one car less is a blessing.

I have to commend Mayor Carlos Gimenez for supporting it, and for not giving up on bicyclist lanes.
