Pact with Iran
The false choice between a bad deal and war ignored the possibility of a better deal that might have come from a credible threat of limited military action — the very type of strike that Secretary of State John Kerry advocated against Assad after his use of chemical weapons.
But even risking war would have been preferable to this surrender.
Obama will be gone from the scene, But war there will be. And the stronger Iran becomes — as with ISIS now compared to when it probably was a JV squad — the more difficult, dangerous, and devastating that war will be.
