Pluto’s controversy

Scientist are claiming they have flown a satellite by Pluto and are now sending back actual photos of the former planet (Pluto up close, July 15). Others think it’s a hoax perpetrated by NASA scientists for some nefarious reason.

What do you think, Jeb Bush? Is there room for discussion here? Are these images real or actually generated by a computer? And what about you, Marco Rubio? We know from your own statements that you are not a scientist and thus are not capable of making a decision on scientific matters.

If there is even the slightest question of authenticity aren’t we bound to deny everything? I hope you are willing to step forth and speak out about this brewing controversy.

Joe Parker, Palmetto Bay
