Confederate flag
While I am pleased to see the Confederate flag removed in South Carolina, I see it almost as a perceived closure to the horrible, racist murders that occurred.
The flag is gone so case closed, problem solved. But has anything really changed? I’m not sure what the answer is, but I know it’s not as simple as removing a terrible symbol.
It’s a start, but nowhere near enough.
