Crack down on fraud

Puerto Rico, like Miami, has been identified as having high rates of Medicare and other types of fraud. It’s no wonder healthcare employees lost their jobs when Medicare cracked down on fraud.

In Miami, the economy was very robust when there was mortgage, IRS, insurance, worker’s compensation, healthcare, and investor fraud.

When the fraud was uncovered, there was a downturn in the economy.

Taxpayers and consumers are expected to pay for the cost of fraud, investigations, prosecutions, and imprisonment.

The federal government treats the taxpayer as an ATM machine. Taxpayers need to hold Medicare, Social Security, and the IRS accountable for missing tax dollars.
