The current media-spurred hype over Ebola, complete with political and racial undercurrents, would be merely exasperating except for a few uncomfortable facts. More than 20,000 Americans per year die of the flu and its complications, and more than 50,000 die of gunshot wounds, just to name two. Where is the concern for them?
