Kudos to Mayor Levine
Kudos to Miami Beach Mayor Philip Levine. He is approaching the completion of his first year in office and is a model for what a mayor should be — a strong leader, nice demeanor, accessible and responsive to problems at hand. Most recently, along with his capable city manager and City Commission colleagues, he swiftly dealt with rising tides and flooded streets. We should be proud that in January, the city will celebrate its 100th anniversary with Mayor Levine at the helm. I guess I should know, since I’ve known every mayor since 1965.
