Clean energy jobs
It is reported that Florida has the least amount of clean-energy jobs in the country. According to the Oct. 8 article Florida lags in clean-energy jobs only 1.5 percent of Floridians work in clean energy businesses. Unfortunately, this is a minimal amount compared to other states. I feel it is only right to take the initiative and address this issue.
The government should stop spending our tax money on useless endeavors and put it toward creating more jobs in this area of work. That would not only lessen the growing problem in Florida, but it will also provide needed jobs for low-income families. The government needs to direct money to Florida so it can offer more clean energy.
