Cases languish
Before our respected judges ask Miami-Dade taxpayers for another bond issue to build a new courthouse, I suggest that they first dispose of the large backlog of foreclosures that have been languishing in their courtrooms for years without a final disposition. This has contributed to the fraud committed by people who not only don’t pay their mortgages, but also move out and rent the house to other parties while collecting a handsome monthly income for years and years while their cases remain dormant in court.
