MDX rebates

So now MDX has a toll surplus and it would like to send rebate checks to heavy users. What a noble idea! But wait, they want commuters to register to get a rebate.

If MDX authority already has all the information of people who use expressways, why ask people to register to get rebate? Sounds like another way to keep the money in their coffers, since many people are just too busy or lack the patience to register on the confusing Sunpass website. Have you tried to contact a Sunpass representative lately?
