Independence Day
What does being an American mean to me?
It means being a member of a large family of cultures, races and beliefs whose members can communicate and work together.
It means recognizing the ideals of human rights and social justice around the world. It means the pursuit of freedom with dignity so the next generation can be safe.
It means learning about and respecting our Constitution. It means looking at the past and reflecting on all who are veterans, families and those who have been the builders of America.
The mind of America, is the sum of the people. Being an American is heartfelt.
