Nixon wasn’t impeached

It is amazing that so many Americans, like Stephen N. Zack, have no idea that Richard Nixon was not impeached.

Nixon resigned before a vote of impeachment could be passed by the House of Representatives.

Yet, that is what Zack wrote in his June 19 commentary, Still true that no man is above the law.

The only two presidents to have been impeached were Andrew Johnson and Bill Clinton.
