Issue of morality

Re the June 16 article Pope to denounce world leaders for inaction: Pope Francis’ statement on climate change is both moral and scientific.

Politicians all say that the pope should leave science alone. Those politicians also deny claims they have knowledge of science. We can accept that. Let us see all politicians’ pledge to study climate change as a moral thing. Let us see Jeb Bush and Marco Rubio pledge to study science because of the moral imperative as stated by the pope.

So far, those politicians, among others, have simply denied climate change. That is immoral.
