Feeding Floridians
The Sept. 21 photo One million meals, about the Dolphins partnering with the AARP Foundation to pack 1 million meals for individuals 50 and older in South Florida, made me happy and sad at the same time. It’s a marvelous act of giving, but it’s unfortunate that the middle class has all but disappeared. Having to feed so many people who otherwise would not have sufficient food is a terrible reflection on what has happened to our country.
