FIFA’s corruption

With the massive volume of corruption of FIFA’s officials recently disclosed by the Justice Department, it is hard to imagine if Sepp Blatter, FIFA’S long-time ruler, would have survived if FIFA were a country.

FIFA has a long history of corruption well known to its affiliates around the world, to the players and soccer aficionados, and especially to its president, Blatter. If it was shameful that he didn’t resign, it was more shameful that he was reelected by a bunch of affiliate representatives who chose to ignore that soccer fans around the world are demanding a complete change to FIFA’s top governing body.
