Don’t expand park

Re the May 27 article Court endorses 2012 vote to expand Key Biscayne tennis center: The Third District Court of Appeal, in a 2-1 decision, upheld the validity of the referendum vote on the expansion of the tennis facilities at Crandon Park.

As the son of Hardy Matheson, I’m certainly biased. Expansion of the tennis facilities is prohibited by a binding agreement between Miami-Dade County and my extended family, unless the family consents,which is unlikely. The county, in the referendum vote, didn’t inform the electorate of this material fact.
