Pay attention, voters
Each time I read an article by Paula Dockery, I’m reminded of a time when intelligent and flexible persons walked the halls of the Florida Capitol. Dockery, a former Republican legislator, continually states rational positions which can easily be adopted by supporters of both the Republican and Democratic parties.
Moreover, her insider's knowledge of state government exposes the reality that our state government has been hijacked by dogmatic extremists who seem to care little for the less fortunate among us. It is the public's obligation to pay attention, learn the facts and vote into retirement the politicians who do not act in the best interests of all Floridians.
