Before Miami gets its knickers in a knot over Elián’s González’s comment that his relatives should apologize for trying to keep him in Miami, everybody calm down and remember that at 21, righteousness is a given.
Elián, on the other hand, would be better served if he listened to the advice of one of the noted Cuban Ladies in White, who opined a year or so ago that it is better to be effective than to be right. Good advice for all of us.
