Pope Francis and the Palestinians
Re the May 14 article Vatican to affirm state of Palestine in treaty: Now that the Vatican has recognized a new terrorist state on Israel’s border, I wonder where the Vatican proposes that its borders exist?
Perhaps the Vatican forgot that Hamas, the PLO, Islamic Jihad and Hezbollah — all terrorist organizations — consider Catholics, other Christians and Jews to be infidels and wish them all to convert or be killed. Once again, like during the Spanish Inquisition and the Crusades, the Catholic Church has spurned the Jews.
